Plenum Car Rentals ("Plenum", "we", "us") rents cars to drivers in Newcastle and Lake Macquarie, NSW. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and how we use it.
What we collect
- Enquiry form: your name, mobile number, email (if you give it), suburb, the apps you drive for, your licence type and how long you've held it, when you want to start, your preferred car or budget, how you heard about us and any referral code.
- Marketing consent: whether you ticked the consent box, the wording you agreed to and when.
- How you found us: campaign details from the link you used (for example UTM tags, Google or Facebook click IDs, a flyer code), the page you landed on and the referring website.
- Website usage: if analytics or advertising tools are switched on (such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads or the Meta Pixel), they use cookies and similar technologies to measure visits and ad performance.
We don't ask for your licence number, licence photo or date of birth on this website. If you go on to rent a car, you provide those in our driver portal, which has its own terms.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry by phone, WhatsApp, SMS or email, and to tell you which cars are available.
- To check whether you're ready to drive (for example licence and platform requirements).
- To understand which advertising and referral sources bring us enquiries.
- If you ticked the consent box, to send you updates about cars and offers. You can reply STOP or ask us to stop at any time.
Who we share it with
We use service providers to run this website and handle enquiries, such as website hosting (Cloudflare), email delivery (Resend) and spreadsheets (Google). Analytics and advertising providers receive usage data if those tools are switched on. We don't sell your personal information.
Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. Some of our providers may store data outside Australia.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint, by calling 0414 451 232 or writing to us at 113 Charlestown Rd, Kotara NSW 2289. If you're not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
Cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website still works without them.
